Meniscal Root Repair is commonly used the bone socket technique. Damage is identified arthroscopically and the cartilage on the footprint is removed. Using guide aimer to create bone socket. Single bone socket or double bone sockets can be choosen by different surgeons. Then placing a minimum of 2 sutures in the remaining meniscal attachment, and trying to reposition it back to a more anatomic position. Sutures are pulled out from the bone socket and fixation is needed on the anterior bone surface. Fixation can be done by FixButton™ or i-Lock™ knotless anchor.
