The 42nd SMACOT Congress recently concluded successfully in Morocco. As one of the region’s most influential academic events in sports medicine, this year’s congress brought together leading experts and practitioners from across the field. Delta Medical participated throughout the event, presenting its latest sports medicine technologies and comprehensive product portfolio, while engaging in in-depth academic exchange with clinicians from Morocco.
Comprehensive Sports Medicine Portfolio on Display
During the congress, Delta Medical showcased an integrated product system covering key stages of sports medicine procedures. The portfolio included implants and surgical instruments for knee and shoulder applications, arthroscopy systems, as well as commonly used consumables such as the EffiPro™ shaver system, PlasmaArc™ radiofrequency system, and DynFlow® fluid management system.
These solutions attracted strong interest from attending clinicians, with multiple experts engaging in hands-on evaluation and technical discussions. The overall portfolio demonstrated solid clinical applicability and compatibility across a range of surgical scenarios.
Clinical Dialogue Driving Academic Exchange
Throughout the congress, clinicians engaged in detailed discussions with the Delta Medical international team on topics such as instrument handling, implant compatibility, and intraoperative performance of consumables. Feedback indicated that the product system integrates effectively with established surgical techniques and workflows.
In addition, follow-up communication channels have been established with several Moroccan clinicians to further explore clinical applications in specific procedures and potential localization strategies, laying the groundwork for more targeted collaboration.
