Supporting the Successful 2nd MAS Shoulder Arthroscopic Cadaveric Workshop in Malaysia

From August 9 to 10, 2026, the 2nd MAS Shoulder Arthroscopic Cadaveric Workshop was successfully hosted at Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL). The‑event was organized by the Malaysian Society of Sports Medicine, with Delta Medical and its local agent Arah Tenang serving as co‑organizers. Centered on treatment protocols for common shoulder pathologies including shoulder instability, rotator cuff tears and acromioclavicular joint dislocation, the workshop strengthened participants’ comprehension and proficiency in arthroscopic techniques through instructional demonstrations and hands‑on practice.During training sessions, faculty members Datuk Dr. Mohd Asri Abd Ghapar, Dr. Siti Hawa Binti Tahir, Dr. Hishamudin Masdar and Dr. Muhammad Hafiz presented real‑world clinical cases and illustrated the deployment of Delta Medical sports‑medicine implants. They covered surgical workflows and clinical merits of the X‑Lock® PEEK Suture Anchor, V‑Lock™ All‑Suture Anchor and i‑Lock™ PEEK Knotless Anchor for repairing varied shoulder injuries, helping attending surgeons standardize their maneuvers and boost operative competency.

Dedicated demonstration stations were arranged for the cadaveric training. Delta Medical’s 4K Ultra High‑Definition Visualization System and DynFlow® Fluid Management System ran reliably throughout the workshop. The outstanding and stable equipment performance won favourable feedback from all on‑site specialists and physicians.
The successful delivery of this shoulder cadaver‑based training marks a key milestone for Delta Medical to expand academic partnerships and popularize precise surgical procedures across Southeast‑Asian markets. Going forward, Delta Medical will keep cooperating with worldwide partners to support surgeon competency‑building and fuel the global advancement of sports medicine.
