BioCore™ is Delta Medical’s latest-generation biocomposite material platform, encompassing two material families: bioabsorbable-based composites and PEEK-based composites.

BioCore™ Bioabsorbable Composite is a next-generation solution for soft-tissue-to-bone fixation, engineered from a proprietary 70% PLGA / 30% β-TCP biocomposite. Its balanced degradation system helps mitigate local pH fluctuations while maintaining mechanical support throughout bone healing.

A homogeneous composite structure provides enhanced fatigue resistance and progressive strength reduction in line with native bone regeneration—without permanent residues.

The open-anchor architecture promotes cellular and vascular ingrowth, while osteoconductive β-TCP supports new bone formation. Together, they deliver a balanced combination of initial fixation stability, controlled resorption, and long-term bone integration.
